How it works

From draft to executed in three steps.

Upload a PDF — or a Word document, converted automatically — place the fields, and ClassicSign handles the rest of the ceremony.

STEP 01

Send

Place signature, initials, date, name and text fields for up to six parties. Each signer gets a private, single-use link — no account, no app, no login.

STEP 02

Sign in turn

Signing is sequential: each party signs only when it's their turn, sees only their fields, and adopts a drawn or typed signature once to fill every spot. The next signer is notified automatically.

STEP 03

Sealed & delivered

The executed PDF is fingerprinted (SHA-256), digitally sealed with a trusted timestamp, and every party is emailed a durable link to their executed copy.

Security & evidence

Built so the signature holds up later.

Every step of every envelope produces evidence — who, when, from where — bound to the exact bytes of the executed document.

🖋

Legally binding consent

Explicit E-SIGN Act / UETA electronic-business consent is captured with every signature, alongside the signer's typed legal name.

🔏

Cryptographic seal

Completed documents receive a PAdES digital signature and an RFC 3161 timestamp from a trusted authority, with a visible seal on the final page.

🧾

Full audit trail

Created, sent, viewed, signed, completed, downloaded — every event is recorded with IP address and device, per signer.

#

SHA-256 fingerprinting

The executed PDF's hash is stored at completion. Anyone can recompute it on the public verify page — if a byte changed, verification fails.

🔗

Multi-party routing

Up to six parties sign in enforced order, each holding their own private token. Out-of-turn access is politely refused.

📬

Executed copies for all

On completion every signer automatically receives a durable download link to the fully executed document — the record-access requirement, closed.

Why ClassicSign

Everything people hate about e-signing, fixed.

We read the reviews of the big e-signature platforms so you don't have to. The same complaints come up for years — here's what ClassicSign does about each one.

✕ ElsewhereSigning links that expire after 48 hours or a few clicks — signers locked out of their own paperwork mid-deal.
✓ ClassicSignYour link works for the entire signing window, on every device, as many opens as you need.
✕ Elsewhere"Create an account to view this document" — a login wall between you and your own contract.
✓ ClassicSignNo accounts, ever. The private link is your access — to review, to sign, and to come back later.
✕ ElsewhereSigned three months ago and can't retrieve your copy — the email link is dead and support shrugs.
✓ ClassicSignEvery party gets a permanent download link the moment the document completes — and even a used signing link offers your executed copy instead of a dead end.
✕ ElsewhereEnvelope limits, surprise fees for basic features, auto-renew traps, endless upsells.
✓ ClassicSignNo envelope math and no games — the platform is built to close agreements, not to meter them.
✕ ElsewhereCrashes and errors mid-signature, especially on big scanned documents and phones.
✓ ClassicSignProgressive rendering keeps signing moving on huge documents and slow connections — pages paint in while you work.
✕ ElsewhereSupport tickets that vanish and phone trees with no humans at the end.
✓ ClassicSignA real person answers, and the public verify page means you never need permission to prove your document.
Public verification

Check any ClassicSign document.

Every sealed document carries a verify link and a document ID. Paste the ID below — we recompute the stored file's fingerprint live and show you the signers, the date, and whether the record still matches to the byte.

Verify a document
Paste the full document ID or the whole verify link — you'll find it in your executed-copy email and in the seal's verify URL on the last page. Verification is rate-limited and IDs are unguessable, so only holders of a document's link can check it.
